The tongue of the boot gets folded, and the entire shoe gets permanent marks with the tiniest knick. You can walk normal and it seems to get scuffs in the shoe that you can't fix. Super cute, and the marks don't show up too much since it's black, but I couldn't imagine getting these shoes in a different color. I hope they last a long time and still look okay with the scuffs and knicks in the fabric.

The calf is a little loose. I wouldn't say 1/2 size but definitely looser than others.

I love that you can tighten the laces to make them snug all the way up the calf, although when I did, I ended up with extra long laces at the top. I ended up trimming off some of the extra and hot glued the edges so they wouldn't unravel. They are perfect and super comfortable. I get many compliments on them!

Loved these shoes to death. Wish life span was longer than 6 months.
