I LOVE THESE SHOES. I have flat feet and these are great. There is absolutely no arch support so that works for me but if you need arch support I wouldn't recommend them, or I would get an insert. The quality is really pretty good. One side is starting to come away from the sole (about a quarter inch) but it's not a hole. I'd definitely recommend these!
